This is something I wanted to do for ages!
So back in March, on one of those freezing cold days I made this: If you fancy to do it yourself this is all you need: Headphones, some hama beads and a sharp knife or a nail sissors, I jused sissors. Cut the beads lengthways and slip them on the cord! (I used a small jewellery pliers it makes it easier to hold on to the bead)

It's raining it's pouring.....

It still is and has been all day.... But we didn't mind at all! Cause we went for dinner at the Todd's last night and had a beautiful home coked Polish meal, accomplished with a lot of wine and vodka!! Therefore we quite enjoyed a day at home.

We had a lovely brunch and the kids stayed in PJ's all day playing around the house. Unfortunately Felix suddenly got a high temperature and he had to be cuddled and nursed for a while, but after a shoot of calpol and a little kip he was OK again, now we just have to wait and see how he's feels during the night!

We also managed to clean Ophelia's room, watch Jack and the Bean Stalk, bake a cake, order some pizza for dinner, make some hama beads and attend Ophelia's weekly evening swimming class.

Thank God it's Monday tomorrow :-)

Picnic in Greenwich Park

Last Sunday we went up to Greenwich Park with The Family Tood. Dorota and I had to do some more research about having a stall at the Greenwich Market. The husbands took the kids for an hour or so and Dorota and I  managed to get the information we needed. Then we all headed to the park, enjoyed a lovely picnic in the sunshine and the kids had heaps of fun on the playground.

We still managed to get home in time to tidy/clean the house, bake some rye bread (with the sour dough I got of my Mother when I was in Denmark). Later Ophelia and I made a name plaque of Hama beads to Sidsel (our Au-pair from last year) who went back to Denmark on Monday after staying in UK for 18 months.

(Excuse me for the bad melting of the beads)
