Its been soooo long since I have posted anything on the blog!!
However I think I might be in the 'mood' again to write a little and post pictures from the things we have been up to over the last 10 months! Holidaying in Greece was definitely one of the highlights of 2013, as a family we haven't had a 'hot' holiday for a couple of years, so spending just over 2 weeks in Naxos was pure bliss and very relaxed. Just what we all needed.
Traveling to Naxos is a bit of a trek, cause there is no airport on the island there is big enough for jet planes. You can either fly to Athens as we did and then travel by ferry to the Island of Naxos. The fast ferry still takes about four hours (or you can fly to Santorini or Mykonos and sail from there).
All in all the journey is long, but worth it, cause Naxos is in our opinion the best island in Greece!
We have been to Naxos many many times, we meet there, Al proposed there and we keeps coming back for years so for us the island hold many great memories.
Usually we stay at Prokopios Beach which is located 5 km from Naxos Town!
This time we stayed at the wonderful Liana hotel where we had a hotel apartment.
